Description
Z408 is a graphitic (with strong reducing) type coating with Ni/Fe core welding electrodes for cast iron. It has features as follows: high toughness, excellent plasticity, low linear expansion coefficient, etc. Both AC and DC can be applied with welding. It can equivalent to: AWS A5.15 ENiFe-C1.
Applications
It is used for repairing welding important and high toughness parts made of cast iron and modular iron, such as cylinder head, motor stand, gear wheel, etc.

Attention
a. welding electrodes must be baked for 1 hour at the temperature of 150ºC before welding.
b. Small current is the best to be adopted.
