NiCr alloy wire is the first Ni-based alloy wire to be used. As a high-temperature resistance material, this type of alloy has good high-temperature oxidation resistance. The NiCr alloys used in the early days were mainly Ni’80Cr20 series, which we also called Ni 20Cr, which is equivalent to TAFA 06C, followed by Ni70Cr30 series. At present, the high-chromium-nickel-based alloy wire PS45 with W (Cr) between 43% and 45% successfully developed by the Beijing Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, which is equivalent to TAFA 45CT or Sulzer Metco 8500, has been industrialized and has been produced in China. It has been widely used, and some products have been exported to the United States, Japan and other countries. The very high chromium content enables the coating prepared by this alloy wire to be selectively oxidized in a high temperature environment, forming a continuous and dense Cr2O3 protective film on the surface of the coating, thereby helping to prevent the intrusion of external corrosive media And the outward diffusion of metal ions in the coating. In addition, the test shows that this kind of coating material also has very good resistance to sulfide (including SO2, H2S and sulfate, etc.) corrosion performance, making it very suitable for the pre-protection of thermal power plant boilers and parts with similar working conditions .

NiAl alloy wire is another widely used nickel-based alloy wire. It is mainly used as an alloy wire for arc spraying combined with the underlying material. In China, NiAl alloy wire was also successfully developed by Beijing Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals. The composition of this kind of wire is Ni95Al5, and the bonding strength of the coating prepared by it can reach more than 55MPa. It is necessary to spray special shaft parts, plungers, paper dryers and ceramic coatings on metal substrates. Less underlying material. It is equivalent to TAFA 75B or Sulzer Metco 8400. In addition to NiAl 95/5, there is another NiAl wire with a composition of Ni 20Al, which is equivalent to TAFA 79B or Sulzer Metco 405NS. Most customers use 3.17mm wire for flame spraying. Combined with the application of the underlying material.

Monel (NiCu) alloy is also a commonly used Ni-based alloy material because of its good corrosion resistance. Its corrosion resistance is better than nickel in a reducing atmosphere, better than copper in an oxidizing atmosphere, and it shows more prominent corrosion resistance than stainless steel in many media. It is equivalent to TAFA 70T

ALLOTECH can produce and supply a series of nickel-based alloy spray wires, including pure nickel (TAFA 06T), Alloy 718 (TAFA 78T), Ni 20Cr (TAFA 06C), Alloy 625 (TAFA 71T), Alloy C-276 (TAFA 77T) ), Monel 400 (TAFA 70T), NiAl 80/20, NiAl 95/5, 45CT and so on.
